Fees & Insurance

We are an out-of-network provider. We provide superbills and offer support through Mentaya to help you seek reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network benefits.
Why don’t you accept insurance?
We’re an out-of-network provider so we can offer the highest level of personalized care—without the restrictions and requirements imposed by insurance companies. This allows us to offer longer sessions, avoid requiring a diagnosis, and focus on your needs and goals, not what insurance will reimburse. We’ll provide superbills and offer support through Mentaya if you’d like to seek reimbursement.
How much does therapy cost?

Our session rates range from $160–$200. You can view therapist-specific fees here.

We accept credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, personal checks, and cash. Most clients keep a card on file in our secure system for easy, contactless billing.
Do I need a mental health diagnosis for therapy?
No. We do not require a diagnosis unless you request it for insurance reimbursement purposes.

Therapists / Specialties

What is EMDR therapy?

EMDR is a powerful, research-supported therapy that helps process trauma and distressing experiences. Learn more about it here.

Can I work with a therapist who understands trauma, attachment issues, religious trauma, ADHD, or other specific concerns like anxiety, people-pleasing, or perfectionism?

Absolutely. We take great care in matching you with a therapist who aligns with your unique needs and lived experiences. Whether you’re navigating trauma, attachment issues, religious trauma, living with ADHD, identifying as a high-achieving woman, or working through patterns like anxiety, people-pleasing, or perfectionism—we have clinicians with the training, insight, and compassion to support you. When you reach out, our Client Care Coordinator will ask a few questions to help connect you with someone who’s a great fit.

Do you specialize in working with first responders?
Yes— our therapists are trained in culturally competent care for first responders and their families.
Can I refer my department, business, or agency for services?
Absolutely. We work with organizations across Arizona to provide therapy, wellness assessments, and training for first responders, employees, and leadership teams. If you’re interested in bringing support to your department or workplace, reach out to schedule a consultation. We’d love to hear how we can help.
Do you provide therapy for therapists?
We do. Many therapists seek therapy with us because we understand the unique pressures of being a helping professional. Whether you’re working through personal history, burnout, perfectionism, or relationship issues, we create a safe space for you to do your own work with a therapist who truly “gets it.” EMDR therapists in particular often choose us because they find that experiencing their own EMDR therapy deepens their clinical insight and strengthens their skillset as EMDR clinicians.

Logistics

What is your cancellation policy?
We require:
– 24-hour notice for 1-hour sessions
– 48-hour notice for 2-hour sessions
– 2 weeks’ notice for EMDR Intensives
What is the SimplePractice portal and how do I use it?
The portal is where you can securely message your therapist, manage appointments, complete forms, and make payments. A link to your portal will be emailed to you when you become a client.
How soon can I start therapy?
In many cases, you can get scheduled within 1–2 weeks—sometimes as quickly as 24 hours, depending on therapist availability.
How long will I need to go to therapy?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer—how long you stay in therapy depends on your goals, history, and what’s coming up in your life. Some clients come for a few months to work through a specific issue. Others stay longer for deeper trauma healing, ongoing support, or personal growth. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is aligned with your goals, and you’re always in control of the pace and duration of your work.
How long are sessions, and how often will I be seen?
Most individual sessions are 55–60 minutes. Frequency depends on your needs—some clients come weekly, others biweekly. EMDR Intensives are also available. We offer them as a package, typically spanning 5 to 11 hours, distributed over 1 to 3 days. We’ll collaborate with you to find the rhythm that fits your life and supports your healing goals.
