Negin Didehbani, MA, LMFT
Brain Breather, LLC
Hello! Let’s get your journey started.
My name is Negin (pronounced like Megan with an N). I am an experienced therapist, having worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. My deepest desire in my work is to support clients on their journey to a more authentic, fulfilling, and hope-filled life. My therapy style is collaborative, supportive and direct. I have a true passion for emotional healing and I enjoy helping people develop insight into the roots of their problems. Dysfunctional patterns and behaviors often develop as we cope with difficult life circumstances, and although at one time they may be helpful, over time they are no longer needed. I support clients in moving past unhelpful patterns and developing new ways of coping, leading to a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
I am experienced in helping people heal from trauma and PTSD as well as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. In addition to offering individual therapy, I also provide couples counseling, and family therapy. My approach to therapy is to give clients the tools and skills they need to achieve their goals, experience personal growth, and find purpose and meaning in their lives. In my work with couples, I help identify and reduce the barriers that get in the way of the kind of relationships that couples strive for. I also assist couples to improve communication which is foundational to maintaining healthy connection. I use a variety of interventions from different evidence-based modalities to best address their needs such as EMDR, mindfulness, DBT, CBT, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.
I was born in Canada before making the move to California for a few years. I’ve since traded beaches for the beautiful mountains of Arizona. When I’m not working, I love being outdoors and chasing around my twin toddler boys!
I look forward to working with you!
I work with individuals, couples, and families. I see teens 17 and up, and adults.
I am licensed to practice counseling in Arizona and in California.
