Lynette Howard, LAC
Hello and welcome. I am so glad you are here.
My name is Lynette Howard, and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor who is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves after years of running on empty. Many of my clients are high achievers who look “put together” on the outside but quietly feel exhausted, anxious, or stuck in patterns of people pleasing and self-doubt.
I also enjoy working with teens who are navigating pressure from school, friendships, family expectations, and social media. If you often feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of who you are becoming, therapy can give you space to breathe, sort through your thoughts, and learn to trust yourself.
Together, we slow things down and begin to understand the beliefs and experiences that keep you in overdrive. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in EMDR therapy, an evidence-based method that helps you process the stress and trauma stored in the body so you can finally feel grounded and at peace.
I believe therapy is more than problem-solving. It is a space to be seen, heard, and understood without judgment. Whether you are navigating burnout, healing from past relationships, learning how to show up for yourself in new ways, or figuring out where you belong, I will meet you where you are and help you move toward balance and self-trust.
Before joining EMDR Transformations Counseling, I worked with individuals navigating complex trauma and life transitions, which deepened my belief in every person’s ability to heal. That experience taught me that resilience is not about toughness. It is about compassion, authenticity, and connection.
If you are ready to rediscover who you are beneath the pressure and expectations, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I work with individuals ages 14 and up.
