Jennifer Kaplan, LMSW
Hello and welcome—I’m really glad you’re here!
As your therapist, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported as you navigate healing and growth. I believe each person holds the capacity for insight, resilience, and meaningful change, and my role is to walk alongside you—helping you access those strengths while offering guidance and care. I approach therapy with warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for your unique story, working collaboratively in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming.
I work with individuals across the lifespan, as well as couples, with a strong passion for children and adolescents. I specialize in trauma, attachment wounds, dissociation, and complex family dynamics, with a focus on early childhood trauma and relational disruptions, including experiences such as grooming, exploitation, or abuse. I also support clients navigating anxiety, depression, identity development, and interpersonal challenges, with particular attention to those who feel disconnected from themselves or their emotions.
My work is grounded in EMDR and integrates mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT skills to build stability and support readiness for deeper trauma processing.
Clients often describe me as attuned, grounding, and able to make sense of complex internal experiences in a manageable way. I strive to balance clinical insight with genuine connection—meeting you where you are while supporting where you want to go.
I work with Children, Teens, Adults and Couples.
