Gbemisola Chukwu, PMHNP
Hello! I am honored to support you on your mental health journey.
With over 14 years of progressive clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings, I bring a deep commitment to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based mental health care. My background includes working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders and complex co-morbidities, allowing me to effectively integrate physical and mental health care to promote optimal treatment outcomes.
I am dedicated to delivering accurate assessments, precise diagnoses, thoughtful treatment planning, medication management, supportive interventions, and coordinated care guided by the latest evidence-based practices. My extensive experience as a psychiatric registered nurse and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) has strengthened my ability to design personalized, holistic treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
My mission is to promote mental wellness and brain health while reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness. I provide care for individuals and families affected by conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
I believe that patient-centered care is the cornerstone of effective treatment. Recognizing that mental health is deeply connected to physical health and lifestyle, I work to build trusting, therapeutic relationships that honor each client’s unique story, values, and goals.
I work with individuals 18 and up.
