What is an EMDR Intensive?

EMDR Intensives are customized, immersive therapy experiences that compress months of therapy into a few focused sessions over one to three days.

  • No weekly “stop-and-start” disruptions

  • A personal retreat-style environment, either in-person or virtual

  • Targeted, individualized treatment designed around your specific goals

  • Greater emotional insight, regulation tools, and forward momentum

Whether it’s a half-day, a full-day, or a 3-day experience, this is your time to go deep and make real, lasting change.

What You Can Expect

Pre-Intensive Session
We begin with a 60-minute planning and goal-setting session to identify the specific issues, memories, and patterns you want to address.

Personalized Assessments & Preparation
We’ll equip you with tailored tools and activities to support your emotional readiness, before, during, and after the intensive.

EMDR Intensive Sessions
Therapy takes place in extended 3-hour blocks over 1 to 3 days. These sessions are immersive, powerful, and precisely structured for your healing journey.

Post-Intensive Debrief
We wrap up with a final 60-minute session to reflect, integrate insights, and define your next steps.

Sessions are held in-person at our Gilbert, Arizona office or virtually for Arizona residents. For those traveling in, we offer tips on local accommodations and self-care activities to enhance your retreat experience.
